Through Southeast Fort Worth, Inc. community development activities, we are building a much stronger and more resilient southeast Fort Worth community through an ongoing process of identifying and addressing needs, assets, and priority investments. Our community development activities may support infrastructure, economic development projects, installation of public facilities, community centers, housing rehabilitation, public services, clearance/acquisition, microenterprise assistance, code enforcement, homeowner assistance and many other identified needs. Federal support for community development encourages systematic and sustained action by State, and local governments.

Affordable Housing

Through Southeast Fort Worth, Inc.’s comprehensive knowledge of low income housing tax credit programs, as well as tax-exempt and taxable bond financing for the construction of housing developments, we can help builders, developers and investors to understand financial incentives available for construction projects and to apply and qualify programs to build affordable housing. Neighborhood Revitalization

Southeast Fort Worth, Inc. knows that just one home in a blighted neighborhood, while a good start, is not the only help a community needs. The Southeast Fort Worth, Inc. Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative was designed to transform neighborhoods using a holistic approach— joining residents, nonprofits, businesses, local governments and communities of faith to create and implement a shared vision of revitalization. Through this effort, Southeast Fort Worth, Inc. will serve more families by responding to community needs with an expanded array of products, services and partnerships. Together, Southeast Fort Worth, Inc., neighborhood residents and local partners can change the face of the southeast Fort Worth neighborhoods and enhance the quality of life for all the families who live there.

Financial Education

Southeast Fort Worth, Inc. started its Financial Education projects in 2000 with the objective of providing ways to improve financial education and literacy standards through the development of common financial literacy principles, which aims to serve as a clearinghouse for financial education programs, information and research in southeast Fort Worth.
